We are focused on the manufacture of environmentally safe and ozone-friendly refrigerants!!!
CFCs discovered in 1920s and other ozone-depleting substances were considered to be miraculous chemical agents. They are non-flammable, non-toxic, and ideal for refrigeration and HVAC equipment. By 1974, when scientists found such miraculous chemical agents to be destroying ozone molecules and harming the environment, CFCs had already become a part of our life. In the morning, we used to wake up on CFCs containing mattresses, we used to switch on air conditioners that cooled air by means of CFCs, we used to live in houses built with the use of CFCs, and we used to have CFCs containing deodorants and hairsprays and keep food in refrigerators cooled with CFCs.
CFCs found application everywhere in our life: in the construction industry, automotive industry, HVAC equipment, fire-fighting systems, chemical cleaning, degreasing, etc.
The Montreal Protocol practically allowed the world community to get rid of CFCs; HCFCs that replaced CFCs deplete the ozone layer, but to a lesser extent.
On the one hand, the standard of living on the planet is getting higher, and, on the other hand, habits and lifestyle formula are changing, thus leading to continuously growing demand for refrigerators and air conditioners.
While searching an alternative to CFCs in refrigeration industry, people paid much attention to the use of natural refrigerants, such as ammonia, hydrocarbons, and carbon dioxide. They have already been widely used in some areas (for instance, isobutane is used in the manufacture of household refrigerators, while propane, ammonia, and carbon dioxide are used in vending refrigeration equipment and air conditioning systems).
As a manufacturer of refrigerants, we are focused on environmentally safe and ozone-friendly refrigerants!
Refrigerants of our manufacture are used in the production of over 4 million units of refrigeration equipment made in Russia (refrigerators, boxes, show cases).
We manufacture the following refrigerants: R600a (isobutane), R290 (propane).
R600a is a colorless, odorless gas. It has replaced R12 and R134а refrigerants. Its good solubility in mineral oil significantly facilitates the transition process. It is manufactured in compliance with TU 0272-021-50284764-2005.
Being a natural substance, it has significant environmental advantages as compared to R12 and R134а. In addition to this, it demonstrates better performance in terms of thermo-physical and operating parameters: it has higher refrigeration efficiency, thus reducing power consumption, it does not cause harm to the environment, it does not deplete the ozone layer of our planet and does not cause greenhouse effect. Thanks to high energetic properties of R600a, the amount of refrigerant gas filled in a refrigeration unit is 60% lower as compared to R12. Refrigeration units operating with the use of R600a work at lower pressure in the refrigerant circuit, which is characterized by lower noise level and extends the service life of a unit. Isobutane is neutral to materials of a refrigeration unit and a compressor, i.e. it does not react with them and does not produce any heavy hydrocarbons clogging the refrigerator system, and, therefore, ensures reliable and long-lasting operation.
R290 is a colorless, odorless gas. It has replaced R12 and R134а. Its good solubility in mineral oil significantly facilitates the transition process. It is manufactured in compliance with TU 19.20.31-089-48420562-2017.
In terms of refrigeration performance and pressure, R290 meets the level of R-22 and R-502; at the same time, it is ozone-friendly and non-toxic. If you use this refrigerant, you do not face any problems with the selection of compressor, condenser and evaporator construction materials. Propane demonstrates good solubility in mineral oils. Low temperature at the compressor outlet is an advantage. R290 temperature profile corresponds to that of R-12, which allows you to use R290 as a replacement gas in industrial refrigeration equipment.
Since November 2019, we have been in the process of start-up and adjustment to commence the manufacture of R1270 refrigerant (propylene).
R1270 is a colorless, odorless gas. It can be used as an alternative to R22 in low temperature and medium temperature refrigeration systems and air conditioning systems. R1270 refrigerant has extremely low global warming potential (GWP) equal to 3.
R1270 refrigerant can be used in commercial refrigeration equipment (equipment with a remote refrigeration unit, centralized cold supply systems, high-capacity refrigeration equipment). In addition to this, propylene is used in air conditioning equipment and heat pumps (small capacity air conditioning self-contained equipment, mini split systems (without an air duct), water heating heat pumps, heat pumps for room heating), in chillers with compressors, it can be potentially used in vehicle (mobile) refrigeration systems and vehicle (automobile) air conditioners.
